    I have just lost a whole flock of hens to Marek's disease. I thought they were vaccinated when I purchased them and unfortunately they all succumbed to this disease at the age of 2. Does anyone know if a hard freeze will kill the virus in the soil and grass? They free ranged so unfortunately...

    I am in the same situation (Montana). Left mine out last nite and it was 29 degrees and they did great. Supposed to snow this weekend so I am adding a heat lamp.

    Training chicks

    I have just transitioned our chicks to their coop. They have figured out how to get inside the enclosed portion however not sure they will put themselves to bed yet. Should I let them figure it out or do they need guidance for the next few days. Worried because it gets cold at night
