So will someone explain to me how 4h and FFA poultry classes work. I want to have meat birds and show them at the fair but do meat birds have to be males or can they be females?
Should I use a large waterer and keep in in the coop. Or should I use two smaller waterers and have one outside in the run and one in the coop. They are let out in the run during the day and kept in the coop at night.
I plan on purchases Rhode Island chickens and Khaki Campbell ducks. Will they be fine if they're in the same chicken coop? Also when they're little chicks and ducklings can they be together?
