i can definitely try that today. I have not actually dewormed since I have had chickens and no mites or lice to my knowledge but I can check her over again today. Thanks for your reply!
Hello everyone,
I currently have a little over 2 year old ISA brown that has recently become ill. I have 31 birds altogether of mixed breeds and two being roosters. She has had quite the number of issues- her first year she ended up egg bound and passed a soft shelled egg on my lap after...
I took a picture of her poop from just a bit ago. Not sure if this is indicative of anything other than what I already suspect. She’s definitely more lethargic today. She did eat a little bit, I made her a food mash with her feed, oatmeal and scrambled eggs. She has a little bit in her crop.
Actually I did find the dosage on the package. It’s 600mg for 1/2 tsp. I gave 1/4 tsp and mixed in water today.
I will add her back into the flock today, I’m sure she will appreciate the sun and nice weather.
The calcium carbonate I have is powdered and does not have a dosage on it. I bought it for toothpaste last year. I gave her 1/4 teaspoon sprinkled in her food.
I do not have a picture of the lash material. And I won’t be able to find it now unfortunately. The shriveled up shell was back in...
Hi everyone,
I have a 2 year old ISA brown that has not been feeling well. She has had issues on and off with egg laying. History of laying soft shelled eggs and some eggs with a shriveled up shell. As of recent I noticed some behavior changes with her. She is usually very active and anytime...

Hi everyone,
I just ordered tiaguard for a chicken having some respiratory issues (wheezy, slight rales), she almost sounds congested. She is an almost one year one Ameracauna hen. She had this about a month or so ago and I just did supportive measures (isolate, vetrx, poultry cell) and she did...
Hi Friends,
I have an almost year old rooster (Ricky) that is in need of a new home. I have a flock of 29 and growing right now and 4 of the 29 are roosters (Thanks Tractor Surprise). Ricky is super sweet with me but he is wreaking havoc on the ecosystem. He used to pretty docile around the...
This is from today it’s the best I could do given the location without putting too much pressure on it and making her uncomfortable. No leakage from the crop
It’s the opposite side of her crop. I’ll take another picture. No leakage from what could tell but it is pretty close to the crop. I’ll do some further inspection. A predator could get through the fencing if it was desperate enough, so it’s possible but I’m having a hard time with that since she...
