Thank you. I just wanted to do all I could for her.
I felt a little silly to be honest but my ladies are pets. And they are treated as so.
We're going to miss our little Peace. We loved her.
Final update.
The vet said she was either egg bound or had the yolk issue discussed prior. The only way to figure it out was to do an xray and surgery that would have made her unable to lay eggs any longer.
She was in such bad shape by the time we got there, and was so miserable we just chose to...
Not much change as of this morning. She won't stand long. Her crop still has the fluids I tube fed her.. Her comb does have more color but aside from that she is still in bad shape.
I'm going to just take her into the vet
I have no way to check her temp and it's stressing me. All I have is an children's ear thermometer. I'm going to buy a mercury thermometer first thing in the morning.
Her droppings don't at all seem yolk colored. She has had 2 movements since we've tube fed her. I took pictures
What do you think?
It is purple but only along the top and edges about half way in. I added some ointment incase it was weather related.
It does seem since treating her this evening her comb is more red than purple however is still purple along the edges.
Beforw it was more purple then red.. now more red then...
