It figures it was a good ole NC country yokel, bunch of back wood jerks is what they are. They ride around all day with their dogs in hot dog boxes and you see them stopped at some little hole in the wall drinking beer all day while there dogs are left in the hot sun and it isn't even hunting...
Most of the time fighting with them only makes them worse in the long run. I have had better luck with a water hose they can't fight back and they sure hate to get wet:)
I have had wyandottes for about 5 years. The hens are generaly good but the roos tend to get mean after about a year. That does not bother me but not very good if you have childern.
I'm just reading this post. My local feed store quoted me a price yesterday of $184.00 for 1/2 ton of laying pellets. That is about $9.20 a bag 4 of us are going to go in together and get some this week.
