    I’ve never heard of putting roosters in temporarily when you put a rooster in he’s part of the pecking order. I just got rid of my second rooster because he became a year old and decided to fight for the girls as top roo. And I hatched a rooster I just re homed also. One too for every 10...

    I think it just happens sometimes one of my chickens laid and egg so small a few weeks ago there was no yolk I doubt a 15 week old laid an egg unless your giving her laying mesh

    How to hens go broody? (Sp?)

    She is an Americana black lays blue eggs. Haven’t had any from her in months. Today I’ve picked her up and put outside 2 times. She eats grass like she’s starving. I don’t want her to get Sickly and die.
