It was 48-50 day 1-18 then it spiked to 80 and I couldn’t get it down

The problem with this chick and possibly the reason the other died could be because your humidity was too high.

Next time try to lower your humidity.

35ish.
And after you see an external pip you can raise it but not to 80....60 ish should be good.

So I just got serama eggs today put them pointy side down in egg carton this morning but I’m puzzled at what I saw when I candled them. Can someone tell me what’s going on with my eggs

Sorry I just saw this I am now on day 12 with 5 littles ones dancing around. I got the eggs from Etsy in NY. Locking them down on Sunday. I found out they were pourus but have 2 doing wonderful

Yeah. Generally you don't want to set porous eggs like that, as it's easier for bacteria to invade, but if you're keeping a watchful eye on them, hopefully it should turn out alright.

Thank you. Ya my humidity is like 62 ugh would it be ok to just let it go into the 20’ s or 30% range til Sunday

Oh I said 2 I meant 5 out of 7. 3 were porus but they’re growing doing well
