I'm not sure but an update is that she's throwing up clear fluid. She's still eating and drinking though but she has a little bit of labored breathing. I think its her time. 😔
She is recovering from Bumblefoot (she had this last week). She is now showing an increased interest in eating (she never used to eat a lot compared to my other hens). You know when you touch directly under the hen, there is some kind of bone (past their crop, lower). After that bone, that's...
I think its the vent between her legs. She does not lay anymore. There was a small hard spot but the rest is soft. She is very active, eating, and drinking. I will check her butt tomorrow when I release her from the coop.
Shes a Rhode island red. She is 2 years old. I know this is a weird question but she's always kind of thin but her "rump" has been growing and I want to know if thats normal. This is what she looks like.
I was checking her feet today and I found a black spot. It's a black spot on the bottom of her foot. Does anyone know what it is? Do the other black spots on her legs have to do with it?
