    Thanks for all the feedback... Sadly he is too loud for my neighborhood and we are trying to get rid of him. Craigslist didn't get us anywhere. Does anyone know anybody in the SF bay area who would want this rooster? Never mind, problem solved.

    We got him from my school (some younger kids had a project of hatching and raising chicks). The teacher got random eggs and had no idea what breed they were. Could it be a crossbreed?
