    They are beautiful ! Love rhode island reds! From my experience in chick raising I would guess you have a hen and a rooster. The chick in the bottom picture looks like the rooster and the top a hen :-) xo

    My special Eric(female) hatched a day later than her brothers and sisters, she formed in the egg upside down, she's now 6 months old and perfectly healthy! My best egg layer! She is often a little 'special' and spends most of her day on her special rock

    What's your chickens favourite treats? On the cheap? I give mine cereal with banana chunks , mealworms and warm custard for a cold day! They love it! And normal things like cold spaghetti and fruit. I've heard oatmeal is a favourite too! I haven't tried it yet though, what yours flocks fave?

    Like everyone else said, no to chocolate cookies or ones visibly coated in sugar. My girls love stale raisin cookies as a very occasional treat. I also like to give my girls low fat warm custard on cold days! They love it!

    Hiya, I'm a new member to BYC although I have been checking the website for years. One question - how do I change my profile photo ? I'm using an iPhone 4. I'm sure it says somewhere i'm just tying to work everything out. Thankyou xo
