We bought two Rhode Island Red, we named them Buzz and Ginger. They have the tail feathers, and wings feathers starting to get chest and neck feathers, We have had them two weeks today, wondering how old they are and they both looks so different Ginger has a lot of white feathers coming in when buzz does not. They both have a comb coming in. The 1st picture is Buzz and the 2nd picture is Ginger these was taking today at 2weeks of having them.

Can someone tell me the age and if you think Ginger and Buzz are hens or do you think one a Roaster

They are beautiful ! Love rhode island reds! From my experience in chick raising I would guess you have a hen and a rooster. The chick in the bottom picture looks like the rooster and the top a hen :) xo

How old do you think they may be, I think they older then two weeks old, They can also fly very good too.

Do you know how old you think they are? They are getting neck feather and chest feather I have had them for two weeks, but other I got at the same time all going on almost 4 weeks, and some I know was born the day I got them. These they didn’t say...

They are probably at least 2 weeks old. I have 6 Golden Sex-links in the brooder (2 weeks old Friday) and they have even more feathers.
