He/she is 13 weeks officially today. Haven’t heard any crowing or anything like that. Hoping for a pullet but ok if it’s a cockerel too.
What do you all think?
Well, he/she did not want to cooperate for pictures today. 10 weeks old. Looks about the same as last week to me.
Whether this is a boy/girl doesn’t matter to me really. I love its sweet personality.
It’s me again! 😂
So these chicks are both newly 7 weeks old. I got them to be siblings for my singleton chick (who turned out to be a full RIR cockerel, who I already have plans to be rehomed.)
I’m thinking I have at least one more cockerel, though I would like some second opinions!
These two...
I know that brahmas are notoriously difficult to identify by gender, so just looking for opinions. This is my only remaining Brahma (we had a Fox breech the coop they were in and lost our other two). So I’m curious to know what this one is so we can give him/her a name, as we have grown...
How awesome! Can’t wait to see them. Ducks are so funny. They tend to be afraid of everything at first. Mine see me as the “food lady” so they get very bossy in the mornings when I let them out of their house and they’re right under foot to get their breakfast. 😂
Thank you! Yes the lighting was indoors with low, natural light. I have 2 other Ancona but they are black and white so these colors are different for me. 😊
Curious as to what color these anconas are, particularly the smaller of the three. The two smallest are just shy of 2 weeks old and the other is 3 weeks old.

Fun fact: These little ladies came to us just today! Their adoptive mothers are 2 goslings and they follow them everywhere. ❤️
I know very little about brahmas as these are the only ones I have ever had. Well, other than the fact that I’ve read they’re very hard to guess gender on at a young age.
With that in mind, curious if any of you would like to guess on these two. They’re newly 5 weeks old.

Chick 2
ETA: Not an entry, just sharing for fun 😊
Names: Lucy & Ethel
Breed: Welsh Harlequin
Age: 5 days old
Fun Fact: Not my first Welshies, but these two have had such a different personality than the others. Meaning: feisty! (Hence the names!) They are a very bonded pair, and were introduced at 4...
