That's brilliant thank you, Oreo was the only one that that makes a sound when parted. The other 3 open and close their beaks but no sound or a few peeps.

Husband wants to hold off to next weekend to see if we can hear a difference even if it means we lose the breeder we want to use. Not ideal for me timing wise but I don't want to have a wasted journey. It's really far for us and

If you really want ducks from this breeder just go get girls.
Your for sure gonna have at least one Drake there and it's best to have at least 3 girls per Drake. So you couldn't go wrong getting more girls.

Agreed. With ducks IMO, it is best to err on the side of having more girls than you need because of the male to female ratio.

Yay this is the one I thought was a boy originally because she's big but husband pointed out that she probably has different parents in some way either mum, dad or both and so she might just have the big bone genes

But I don't throw in the towel until their voice changes to the raspy Drake sound.
