    Pomeranian Goose Breed Thread

Lol yeah me too! I got them from a poultry breeder near Linz, I'm in Austria. There seem to be quite a few who breed the two tone Poms but not so many,as I can see, that breed Saddlebacks. The Saddlebacks are an American breed so I guess stands to reason they're not so common here.

    Pomeranian Goose Breed Thread

We finally got our babies and after less than a week I'm sure they've doubled in size. As mentioned I believe they are Pomeranians but white although I think the girls will have "hoods" their heads and necks are just feathering out now. If I can get this to upload some recent photos I'll show...

This is most interesting! Thanks for the info. The breeder has a mixed gaggle of poms but there are three white as I could see and the others grey. He didn't have saddle backs as I could see; so if I want to try and breed them are white a more inferior breed or are they different in...

I'll see what I can do with pics,it may take a day or two to get back. I regretfully didn't take any when I went to see them. I wanted three that had grown up together but I was hesitant with this little one, maybe unreasonably. It reminds me of a chicken being hen pecked the back of the neck is...

    Pomeranian Goose Breed Thread

Hi folks, I need some advise fairly urgently, I've just bought three beautiful Pomeranian Goslings but one looks like its neck and around it's face the feathers are falling out is she sick or is this normal as the others still look cute. They are 3 weeks old. I haven't picked them up yet so I...

    New to BYC!

Hi Thom and Heather Welcome, I'm a bit of a newbie to the site but I've had chickens all my life. We are looking at being selfsufficient too, we have 6 silkies mainly for the tenant's kids which are not really good layers so we will probably change breeds this season for a more productive breed...

Hi can anyone tell me a little about Pomeranians other than that they look so pretty.I've researched them on the web but there really isn't much on their temperament also what I'd need to look out for in buying goslings.
