    Redwood mulch for coop floor???

    I have a supply of free redwood mulch and wondered if anyone has used redwood mulch for their chicken coop floor ? Does mulch do the job or does it have to be shavings? I am getting my chickens next week and need to get this figured out. Thanks for any advice.

    Cedar Shavings For Nesting Boxes?

    I live in redwood country. Would there be any problems using redwood mulch on the coop floor. The floor is made from redwood 2x6 lumber.
