    The rooster is the Red, the hens are the EE. The EE produces blue eggs.

    Hi Gypsy. I agree that it might have been a humidity problem. See my post on your other thread about my horrific results of opening another egg. Hope your chicks are doing ok.

    This chick pipped and zipped, but never hatched. Any ideas on what might have gone wrong? Here is what I found when I picked away where the air cell was: This is when the shell was removed- it looks like the yolk sac was never reabsorbed? Maybe?
