Where did you buy the shed windows from?
I am trying to decide wether to build or buy. I am laying out a 6x10 Woods Open-Air tractor. I might be able to build cheaper than buying. Shed windows are not easy to find on-line
I have been doing a lot of research here in BYC about building this Woods' house. Probably the best article (so far) is by Howard E. When searching for articles, use the TAG option of search. For search terms, type "woods" or "open"; you can select terms like woods coop, woods house, or open air...
In this vein, I say: get both.
A quality breeding group. (Rooster, two or three hens) and a run of NH Reds.
If the breeder is local enough, they are a resource. I'm sure they would want to see their line be successful.
Lessons learned can be applied to the NH Reds immediately.
Since the run is covered, I agree with Mary (Folly's place). Not much will grow there with out the rain and sun. This will keep the mud down. Do you plan to let them out and about some?
