I have a pet hen that lived inside a majority of the time and has fallen ill do to her ascites. I no longer want her to suffer and would like to put her down at home. Is there anything I could give her for euthanization? No gun no ax!
I am seeing that Corid treatment is to be mixed with 2 gallons of water for 5-7 days. I am wondering if it is possible to treat hen individually by syringe?
Thank you for the response but that’s the issue. The mom will be given back to the owner as she is a loaner so I didn’t have our chicks under a heat lamp or case stress from detaching them. These chicks will need to be introduced without the mom
