almost week old chicks may have pasty butt
I hatched three silkie chicks and all three have poop stuck to their butss for a few days now and I'm not sure what to do. I have never had this problem so I'm looking for some help. Thanks- ninnyeggs

my patience is very little no eggs and no combs ugh could the no eggs be because they dont like the rooster?- ninnyeggs

they were born in late april to early may and the rooster was hatched on june 22 all of this year- ninnyeggs

the rooster is the mystery bird. i hatched him and he was supposed to be a silkie and the guy i bought him from was a rare breed dealer so maybe he is the rare combless rooster:P- ninnyeggs

in the top pic what breed is the brown one standing up? i ordered silkie eggs and when ithatched it came out looking kinda like that and im trying to figure out what it is haha cute chicks- ninnyeggs

ugh i was afraid of that. i contacted the seller. i am not sure if i can keep it. i would try again for silkies and so i would have to give away this one i am running out of room and cant have both- ninnyeggs

pics will def be posted soon but there is a huge problem. the supposed silkie has pink feet and with no feathers on its feet. so i contacted the seller. i wish silkies were born with pink feet lol i dont have much more room at all for chcikens so im not sure i can keep it and still be able to...- ninnyeggs
