    b3 Complex help

    I literally just pour the b complex into a bowl of water with veggies "duck soup"---I don't think there's a wrong way to do it, but you shouldn't expect to see immediate effects---it could take a couple weeks. Look at the sticky thread on niacin deficiency

    Niacin Deficiency in Waterfowl

    I wouldn't put it in their drinking water, they likely won't drink it---the taste isn't something they like. They'll end up ignoring the water altogether, which isn't what you want. I suggest making a couple more waterers as well.

    Mostly to save on wood and get a new coop built quicker. I was also thinking about experimenting with deep litter.

    That's what I do. I put in some greens; kale, peas, high-interest treats and then a bit of the liquid b complex and a bunch of water. Works like a harm. For ducklings I'm really worried about, I'll soak a couple mealworms in the b complex and feed it by hand to make sure they're getting...

    Duck Coop--Bottom??

    I'm going to be building a new duck coops to separate my drakes and their girls. I'm thinking about doing the coops without a solid bottom. I was thinking I'd attach hardware cloth to the bottom and bury it---I just don't know if this is a dumb idea or not. Thoughts? thanks!
