How much do they charge for their day old chicks?

This seems like a good idea, especially for someone showing their hens, or for flocks with a high roo/hen ratio. I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a magic roo/hen ratio that would assure fertilized eggs without any hens sustaining feather loss.

I've offered Lucy and Ricky all kinds of shelter, but all they seem to want is some shade. Now they're in a pen without a shelter. It does rain a lot here, but there are no nocturnal predators so it hadn't occurred to me that it might be an issue.
