    Peachick with hip problem

    3 week old peachick with hip dislocation. I've tried hobbles to help but improvement has been minimal if any. Open to any advice or does it need to be culled?

    2wk old peachick very lethargic

    we have a peachick who is extremely lethargic this afternoon. He has not been having any issues since hatch. Eating and drinking fine before today. Brooder around 90°. No exposure to other birds. He has been hard to arouse. Ive tried to get him to drink some sugar water. Any ideas to help?

    Beak torn off. Will it regrow?

    Thanks for the link. After seeing those stories I dont think they will get their beaks back but those chickens eventually were able to eat regular food again. This gives me hope that I will be able to put them back with the flock once they have had more time to recover!

    Our hens were attacked by something about 3 weeks ago and we lost several. I have 2 survivors who had their beaks torn off. I have separated them and they have been eating softened pellets. They have lost some weight but are maintaining now and acting normal but their beaks are basically gone...

    Hatching We picked up some assorted bantam chicks today from orschlens. Would you be able to help us identify what breeds they are? Both have light clean legs and no wing festhers yet.
