Sexing Pekin Ducks
Hi everyone! I'm a duck newbie. I have two pekin ducks around 8 weeks old. I'm hoping someone can give me advice on their sex. I'm thinking they are both male. They both sound the same anyway no quacks and when I separate them they are silent! No shouting for each other. Anyway I've added a... -
Male or Female Ducklings!
When they talk to each other it sounds a bit like a cluck. If I separate them they scream really loud. There's no definite quack though. I hope I have at least one girl! -

Hi I'm new to this site and live in the UK. I have 2 5 1/2 week old ducklings(pekin x aylesbury) known as Cherry Valley ducks over here. Yes it was around 3 1/2 months when I heard first quack from one but now I feel that ones voice is starting to go raspy :( The other one I feel is definitely a boy but at times has outbursts of loudness. It's so hard to tell. Maybe I'll just have to wait!- Norman89

I'm desperate to figure out if I have boys or girls I was hoping for a girl for eggs, and I've hatched these from an egg so haven't identified sex ect! I love them though! They are great fun!- Norman89
