My eggs are finished up - 2 serama hatched and 4 sablepoot.
Sadly 4 serama were fully developed but didn't hatch and one sablepoot was born with scissor beak and missing eye
The others are doing well though! First out had splayed legs but seems to be fixed now.
I really want some blue eggs 😬 I wasn't planning on adding to the main flock this year after the great hatching of 2022 but... anyway that's for another hatchalong.
Don't think I've lost any more eggs yet, although I have been actually taking the old eggs that I was 95% sure werent developing...
My main coop is too... I had never let a broody hatch for me but told my silkies to go for it last year... and they really went for it. A little TOO successful 🤣 I want to add more to that flock but there are just toooooo many.
I am definitely getting another coop and run so my smaller bantams...
I'm sorry none of your Orpingtons are developing 😞 love a nice brahma though! I will happily adopt #4, going to have to up my positive vibes for my adopted eggs. More cheering! Go eggs goooooooooo
Mine should be somewhere between 13th and 15th.
10 out of the original 18 still developing, not the worst from shipped eggs! Shocked all the serama eggs are still going... hopefully at least a few hatch 🤞
Not the best of photos but 5 out of 12 sablepoots are developing nicely. 🥰
It was weigh day today, they are on track! Not adding any water to raise humidity but it's quite humid in this room anyway - sad thinking I could have doomed previous hatches by just following instructions, which probably...
