Well, I guess that was a rhetorical question I had people call today for chicks to my husband, and I was like “no, I don’t want to get rid of any of them!” He reeled me in, I think we agreed on 15 or 30, something like that

My eggs are finished up - 2 serama hatched and 4 sablepoot.
Sadly 4 serama were fully developed but didn't hatch and one sablepoot was born with scissor beak and missing eye

The others are doing well though! First out had splayed legs but seems to be fixed now.

My chicks from the 2nd March hatch had their Marek shot yesterday. All are doing well. One Sulmtaler chick kinda looked tired last night and I thought oh oh... it's not going to make it. But I guess it was just that.... tired from the day's events. It was just fine this morning and I can't even tell which one it was.

My 3rd hatch is for March 30th and also the last for this year. I set 68 Sulmtaler eggs and if I calculated correctly there are 45 left. I still don't have a great fertility rate with 2 of my groups.... so that is something to think about. My 2 year old roo is doing a great job and is giving his sons a run for the money.
Either way, I am done for this year after these chicks hatch at the end of the month.
