I have decided to sell my German New Hampshires, I just have too many mouths to feed. I have a flock of 9 hens and 2 roosters. I am asking $100 for a trio, but I would consider offers for the whole flock also. Beautiful birds, they are a joy to own. I live in southcentral Missouri.
I just started a thread with a question about chocolate barred wyandotte genetics. If anyone can help me it is here:https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/784122/chocolate-barred-wyandotte-bantams Thank you.
Last month I got a chocolate wyandotte bantam rooster that I put in with 2 black wyandotte bantam hens and 2 barred wyandotte bantam hens. My first chick was tan with a dark brown head. Then I got a beautiful chocolate color chick. 25 chicks since then have all been black or barred black...
I noticed some discussion about him on some other threads. People are worried maybe he was in the area of the tornadoes, as nobody has heard from him since that time.
Hello,
I just got 2 and a half dozen eggs from Chicken Coach yesterday, so now I'm counting down the days till I have my own beautiful New Hampshires. I think it is going to be a very long 3 weeks!

I am very excited, I am getting a pair of blue bantam wyandottes on Sunday! I currently have 2 barred wyandotte bantam roosters and 2 white wyandotte bantam hens. If I cross the barred rooster with the blue hen, will I get blue barreds? What if I put the white hens in with the blue rooster...
Congratulations! You have a fun time ahead of you. I would highly recommend Harvey Ussery's new book, The Small Scale Poultry Flock. He is very into self-sustaining poultry raising. It is excellent!
Will you be visiting your farm a couple of times a day to take care of your chickens until...

I bought some BLRWs from the Foleys last year. They are just starting to lay, and I am planning on selling eggs from them in the spring. I will also consider hatching chicks also.
Thanks for listing me, but please note my blacks and barreds should be under bantams, not large fowl. Thank you! Thank you for your efforts in doing this thread!
I'm in Southern Missouri. I got my Wyandottes last year, and am looking forward to selling hatching eggs and chicks this year. I have large fowl white wyandottes, and I also have blues and BLRWs that I got from the Foleys. I also have a few bantam Wyandottes. I bought barred hatching eggs...

Hi Terry,
I have LF White Wyandottes. They are gorgeous birds! I got them as chicks this spring and they haven't started laying yet. I have to get a light on them and hopefully they will start then. The whites are so big and fluffy, they make my hatchery SLWs look totally puny.

I bought a bunch of wyandotte bantam chicks from someone on Craigslist. There are 2 roosters among them that I would like some opinions on. Both started out a kind of splash color with some splotches slightly darker. Recently the spots have turned darker, some looking black. I would like...
