    What is your stance on it? Does it slow down the birds growth or have some other side effect?

    I've decided to use the deep litter method in the coop so I added an inch or two of wood shavings to the floor. Now, when I open the birds gizzard it seems to be stuffed with the shavings. Did anyone else experienced this?
