I think he weighs around 1kg plus and is around 13 to 14 inches tall. As he is approximately a year old now, is it safe to assume that he has fully grown?
There are strips of red at the sides of his legs ( perhaps signs of reaching sexual maturity?)

What breed is he/she?
It has very small pale comb until recently the comb and wattles grown quite big and red.
Mum who had chickens before was convinced that it is a hen but the sickle feathers and the small slim feathers around the neck (hackle feathers?) made me think otherwise.

We have decided to adopt her since she did not show interest in following other chickens. We think her mum should looks like this. Is it a batam chicken?
An update that we will not be taking her to the park walks anymore.
She was attacked by a hawk when we brought her to an area frequented by the wild chickens.
Thankfully we managed to save her from the arial attack but she was traumatised.

Yes, we are trying to get it back to the wild by taking it for walks.
Don’t think we can keep the 2nd chicken since it has grown so much bigger since we last got her/him.
She is doing well and adapts to our lifestyle easily.
Been taking her for walks in park, with the hope of bumping into her family. However she just follows us and never venture far from us.
Again we are glad to have rescued her since there is still heavy rain and thunderstorm for the past...
Does her companion need to be around the same age as her?
From what I know, the families who have ornamental chickens do not adopt wild mixed breed chickens.
Unfortunately, the local shelter for abandoned chickens has also closed down.
This means that we need to buy another chick
