What is this breed? Animal rescue

She is doing well and adapts to our lifestyle easily.

Been taking her for walks in park, with the hope of bumping into her family. However she just follows us and never venture far from us.

Again we are glad to have rescued her since there is still heavy rain and thunderstorm for the past week.

Here is her looking outside while it pours cats and dogs outside of our apartment. She just has a warm bath and parks herself comfortably in front of my hair dryer.

Are there feral chickens around? If so, she’s probably the same breed as them.

If you can spend a lot of time with her, you could wait to get her a companion, which gives you a wider range of ages to choose from. (For example, a 4 month old hen can be kept with a 3 month old, another 4 month old, or a chicken over 4 months old.)
Yes, there are feral chickens but come in many different type of breeds.

looks like it’ll be a little rooster tbh. quite adorable 🥰

Oh dear, is it a rooster? Or a hen?

Yes, we are trying to get it back to the wild by taking it for walks.

Don’t think we can keep the 2nd chicken since it has grown so much bigger since we last got her/him.

I see! Will take more photos n see if the comb is red or pink.

It looks pale pink at my end
We took it to find its parents and here is it walking side by side with my husband,

An update that we will not be taking her to the park walks anymore.

She was attacked by a hawk when we brought her to an area frequented by the wild chickens.

Thankfully we managed to save her from the arial attack but she was traumatised.

Thanks, we tried that it has no interest in the mirror. However it seems very attached to us. Is this normal?
Hey good morning, A lone chick, loves people, sounds like someone’s pet or a pet that no one wanted, our chickens follow us around when we let them free range, that’s learned behavior, give that chick baby some love 🐥🐣🐣🙏💕🐥. You are right to care for the chick.
