    Sick Chicken, Internal laying?

Thank you for the info! I'll have to read up on it. She's doing better now. She's back to acting normal, and she hasn't had any more strange poos. Hoping she lays an egg sometime soon. Will let you know if anything else develops.

    Sick Chicken, Internal laying?

I gave her a bath not long ago, she's not as swollen as i first thought. It may just be inflamed because she has a dirty butt. she seems to be getting weaker, and her poo right now is a yellowish foam.

    Sick Chicken, Internal laying?

She's back off, but no egg. This is how she looks right now. I felt around the area, but didn't feel anything odd. Any thoughts?

    Sick Chicken, Internal laying?

Hi everyone. I'm still new to chickens so I'm not sure if I'm right about my diagnosis. My wyandotte hasn't layed a normal egg in a while. She's been pooing parts of eggs out, like what looks to be some yolk, and membrane. they are watery too. Her rear end is red and looks swollen below the...

    Accidential Injury

Hi everyone, any input will be very helpful. We cut and split our own wood and as you can guess some have ant infestations. We like to give these to our chickens. Today we tossed a couple into there run, I went in to assist them. Knocking the ants out of the wood by banging it on the ground...

    Two chickens dead, Please Help!

Definitely going to deworm the birds and insulate the coop. We heard pumpkin seeds helps deworm, going to try that first. Don't have enough feed bags to cover the coop, but we have tyvec, will use that to insulate. What do you think about 11 week old chicks in 0-20 degrees. Will they be alright...

    Two chickens dead, Please Help!

Thank you all for your support! By what your saying I don't think it's Cocci. The only new birds we've had recently are two new chicks which hatched this summer. I would also like to know more about Mareks, the older hen that died did stumble about. Is it contagious? The roo didn't show any...
