    Thanks for the info. Donald has arrived and he's currently chasing the chickens around the garden. We wondered if he would try and mate with the chickens as he's running around after them showing them his wings.

    Thanks for the advice. The reason why we're getting him is cos his wife died and he is lonely and the lady thought it would be nice for him to have some company with chickens. We will be getting him a new lady friend in the near future but just need to get used to a duckie.

    I always leave mine out on the side for easy access. Eggs don't last long in our house.

    Hi there I have 8 chickens but we are getting a duck tomorrow form some who can't look after him anymore. Can the duck live in the coop with the chickens? I have two coops one with a flat bottom. The chickens all sleep in the larger coop but lay their eggs in the smaller coop where I was going...
