    When introducing new hatchlings, I place them in a smaller enclosure inside my main pen and leave them there for about two weeks. Then I turn loose some of the older birds and introduce the new ones. No problem

    I have 150 with 45 being males. Haven’t had a problem once they established their pecking order ( no pun intended!).

    Help! My baby quail keep dying!

    I am having the same problem with this batch of chicks! Have raised over 500 over the last two years with no problem (a few losses have occurred, of course) but this last batch of 45 have, after two weeks, started acting like they have neurological problems and are dying three or four at a time...
