I was really hoping she would take them. The two she hatched herself were already a week old. The one I added was just too slow to keep up I think. Mom seemed impatient. I could try again with these 3. I was afraid to leave them out with her if she rejected them because of the cold.

I do have an incubator. I’m hoping she will sit longer as I’ve made the food and water easily available. Thanks for the heads up though. I’ll keep a close watch to see if she leaves the eggs. I have the incubator ready if need be! These are my first hen hatchlings as well. It’s so exciting.
