    I was really hoping she would take them. The two she hatched herself were already a week old. The one I added was just too slow to keep up I think. Mom seemed impatient. I could try again with these 3. I was afraid to leave them out with her if she rejected them because of the cold.

    I do have an incubator. I’m hoping she will sit longer as I’ve made the food and water easily available. Thanks for the heads up though. I’ll keep a close watch to see if she leaves the eggs. I have the incubator ready if need be! These are my first hen hatchlings as well. It’s so exciting.

    Hi all! I’m new to the forum and looking to find out everything I can about keeping my flock healthy as well as adding some frizzles! I “grew up” with chickens but I’ve discovered over the last few years that caring for your very own flock takes skill and know how. I’m excited to learn!
