    We do spend at least an hour in the deep woods everyday. She’s won’t be a hunting dog anyway just our pet.

    No problems. Chickens are in their run. I think the dog finds them interesting.

    We’ve had Pearl now for a week. She hasn’t barked or charged the Fence since her first introduction. A very firm NO, scared the crap out of her. Now she stands very still and points.     No trouble getting my chickens in their coop anymore. She just runs up and they are gone. She just stands and stares at them. She’s learning fast.

    So we decided on getting a Blue tick hounddog. I’m hoping to get them acquainted so she don’t kill all of them. I’ll setting for not standing at the pen barking at them all day. Thoughts?
