Update***** I had 3 more hatch, unfortunately 1 died. But here are pics of the other 2! The bigger one is Cochin and EE and the smaller one (hatched the day after) I think is Lavender Orpington and EE! Both so cute!!
It’s been a long hard journey but I had my first baby hatch today! I don’t have an incubator yet so I tried it old school, with a bin, a cup of water, manual turning and rotating eggs and a heating pad. I had to put 2 hand towels on the pad then one over the eggs and water, and with lots and...
They are like potato chips, you can’t have just one or four or ten, don’t judge me! Lol 😂 I have 20 right now and about 80 more coming soon! I don’t have any guineas, yet. Lol
Stared out just wanting them for eggs, then I just fell in love with them from there. I love watching them going all over the yard. They put themselves up at night I just go close the door. I also love watching them run up to me when I yell Here chick chicken! They know they are getting a...
This is Hoot, my EE Rooster. He is such a sweet boy. When I am giving out treats he will come stand by me and wait patiently for me to hand him his treat. He will even come when he is called. He is very good with the ladies.

Thanks for responding. I am definitely going to add some turkeys!! I think they are beautiful birds. Think I’ll sneak some turkey chicks in with the new chicks I’m getting first of August. Hope my daughter doesn’t notice for a little while!
