Do you put water and feed out near the nest ? I have a female under my hosta tight against the house on South side... I haven't seen her leave at all and I'm wondering if I should try getting her water or is she fine... I would hate to scare her off the nest..

Are there actually nipples made for the dif. Direction..aka.. vertical or horizontal?? And should they have some kind of spring in them..or does the nipple supposed to slide in freely..as the ones I have do.. from either direction
