1 year old full blooded Welsummer. He is the brother to my hens so he needs to go.
He is a perfect looking Welsummer Rooster.
Carrollton Georgia area.
using those terms don't refer to age at all but respect for another human.
There is nothing wrong with respect unless you are just not willing to show it yourself then it tends to bother you when someone else does.
I wouldn't be so sure of them not hiring anyone for that purpose it seems the government is against anyone who wants to get up and work and sell their goods or products. They would rather see us down getting food stamps and depending on them.
They find a way to license and fee you to death.
Day 20 for 4 wellsummer eggs, 2 pipped that I can tell.
So now what do I do to keep myself busy so I am not glued to the incubator door?
Well I started cleaning the barn:(( I don't know if I incubate eggs anymore it is to much work for me.
Good Luck everyone:D
I am wondering if there is anyway to tell if our chicks are roos or hens as of right now.
They are between 5 and 6 weeks.
Only two have heavy looking legs compared to the rest but no more comb than the rest.
I am attaching a few pictures if anyone has a guess on any of them I would love to hear...
Have a Leahy Redwood 4 tray incubator with as of last night we have 5 wellsummer eggs.

But no big deal. Mine are very calm and it is like I have to hold them up in the water or they would just let themselves go under.
I fill a plastic tub with warm water in the tub and Bonners peppermint...
Sounds like it may be a week or less. I think I can wait that long.I am glad to hear every one loves their Brinsea.

I wish he could call all husbands, that haven't felt the need, because knowing I can hatch out eggs...

Run don't walk to the ER.
Get on an antibiotic it will take a few days to get in you and your face will not go down right away. The dentist can't do anything till you take care of the infection.
Hope you feel better soon. My sister said to ask for a shot at the ER it works quicker.
Good Luck
