I'm not 100% positive that it is crowing. But it is very different from the other noises they make. I guess squawking is what they do when a large bird is flying over? That's very different too . ps. my camera doesn't take a clear picture today.- oODaphne77Oo

If it is a cockerel, I can take him back to the breeder. But I love the color, so I hope it's a pullet. And he/ she is really sweet.- oODaphne77Oo

I bought 4 pullets about 9 weeks ago. They are all about the same age. The red cochin started to crow yesterday morning. It starts at 5.30AM and ends at 6.05AM (at 6.00AM, the automatic door opens).
