it's still in the incubator with its brother and more that are currently hatching. but it runs around the incubator like a clumsy blind bird. i watched it for a good 15 20 minutes b/c i thought it was tired also but no luck it didn't open its eyes but i could notice its eyeball squirming under...
i just hatched2 turkey poults, more are still hatching, but the second one that has hatched has not been able to open its eyes, it hatched early this morning like about 6am. the one that hatched before it opened its eyes as soon as it hatched. anything i can do? or should do? camera isn't...
bad news the poult that had peeped yesterday....well its "peep" was as far as it got ....i tried to help it out this morning but to my discontent it was dead. so i guess only 2 lil poults out of 6 successfully made it. so how long should i wait till i give up on the rest of the eggs in the bator?
ummm im not sure but i think they are porter calicos.... but guess what another one has peeped! that makes two chicks! hope the other ones also peep soon...
temp at 101.1 and humidity at 63%
i have 5 turkey eggs in my still air incubator. one egg is rolling and chirping....but i have yet to notice any other ones. hopefully more start to move, although on my first try one turkey chick is better then none!
