City - The chocolates are bantams, but a little bigger than the US type bantams. The cockeral is about 5lbs and the females are about 3.5lbs. I do also have some BBS Orpingtons that are large fowl, but they are only a few months old.
I don't have anything other than Orpingtons. I actually have BBS in large fowl as well. The Orpingtons keep me busy enough.
Thanks for the warm welcome!

Have a great 4th! I have to go mow the lawn before it hits 100.

Hey guys! I just found the thread. I live in Moore, Oklahoma and keep Orpingtons. I started a thread in the breeds, genetics, & showing section showing my birds. Let me know what you think.

I posted in the English Orpington Thread, but I thought I would start a thread to show off my bantam Chocolate Orpingtons. I have had them for a few months and think they are beautiful elegant birds.
Even though it has been really hot lately I am getting eggs and fertility is up since I...
Thanks I appreciate all the positive comments. I am pretty proud of the way they look myself and really enjoy the fluffy guys running around the yard.
As far as the size they are bigger than the bantam American Orps. The cockeral in the picture is about 5 lbs.
Hey guys. I thought I would share a couple photos of my bantam Chocolate Orpingtons. I have had them since last fall. What do you guys think of them?

By the way the birds are legal - test and cleared.
