    If you can't get the eggs until after a broody hen has kept them "warm" for over half a day are the eggs ok to eat. I worry about the extra heat of the eggs when I can't get them until the afternoon.

    I believe you but I'll need better answers to convince her. Would wiping them off with those antisepic wipes do it?

    She wants them clean as in no germs or salmonella on the outside of the egg.

    Seems like a good place to ask my question. In process of building coop and then get about 4-6 hens for fresh eggs to eat.
