    I was wondering if anyone else is lacking in the egg production this season. I live in northern New Hampshire and 4 or 5 other people I have spoken with say there egg production is down this season too. I have 17 layers , nh reds, ri reds, goldens, barred... ranging from 1 to 3 years old...

    can I sell the extra eggs?

    I live in New Hampshire and everyone sells everything. Lots of people sell eggs and it is leagal. However, A freind told me that his home owners insurance told him he couldnt' do it or they would drop him.

    What causes the shells to be wrinkled ? Out of 22 hens I have one a day that is wrinkled but sometimes two.
