Can anyone get them a good home?

They aren't allowed in my HOA right now and I am presenting a presentation to the HOA on June 14 but in the mean time we can have any "livestock" in the neighborhood.

Can anyone get them a good home?

I have 6 Easter Eggers 1 week old. Does anyone in Virginia who would be willing to drive to me, want them? Need to go ASAP I hate having to let them go, but as long as it's a good home, it will make it better.

How to change from paper towels to sand bedding

I would switch to news paper or cedar chips. If you are using chick crumbles, which I would be using , they could mistake the sand for food and start eating it. I would wait awhile longer.

Help!!! Chicks hatching under broody with MITES!

Can't you just wipe the bugs off? do you have a inside brooder just in case for this? What are the eggs resting on? (Which I mean like, ceded cops, newspaper, nesting twig things)

    Balding Bellies

Have they been spending more time in the nesting box? It may just be because of broodiness.

    Need advice

You should definitely be there for the hatch so they imprint on You, get some fruit and give it to them to start off with. If you don't want to use the sink you should probably buy a small pool for them to swim around in. And get a electric brooder for warmth. I would keep them inside in pain...

    Telling the difference between eggs

The specked Sussexs eggs will be brown, cream, and tan. While the Black Australorps eggs will just be brown. So if they look kinda creamy then they most likely came from the Speckled Sussexs. Hope that helps!!!
