    Adding New Chicks

    Hello: I have 5 chickens who are about 2 years old. I have an extra coop and was wondering if I could add a flock of chicks and how the existing chickens would respond. Please post if you know anything about this type of arrangement. Thanks Owen New York

    Peregrine Falcon attack?

    Our neighbor is an expert on identifying birds and he caught a glimpse of the bird and told us it was a falcon. I know they are common in the Hudson valley here.

    Thanks for the help. We had our neighbor put her under a heat lamp ( he is an animal expert ) and we are waiting to hear about her condition. I'll keep you posted!

    Our hen was attacked by a falcon today. They were playing outside when we heard bawking and found her lying on her back. She was breathing heavy and her eyes were open. We saw the falcon fly away. Will she be okay? We have her with our neighbor, an animal expert who has her under a heat...

    My chicken was attacked today as well. Did yours lie on its back? I'm assuming that it will die. its vey sad.
