My 2 girls have a home made run and I let them have a little time free ranging most days. They seem happy enough.... particularly if there is lots of chance to scratch about! I think battery farming is cruel but having a run isn't.
I wear my slippers that are lovely and warm...Ugg boot style. Of course it is always wet here at the moment so I wear my husbands crocs on top to keep my slippers dry! It means my feet are warm and dry at the same time!!
I would not do this if I ever thought I would be spotted!!!
I must have fussy fluffies as they wont eat banana! Wot do you all do with it to encourage them to eat it?
My girls did steal a nectarine from my 2 year olds hand in the garden... they LOVE those!
This is my first time sending a message to BYC!!!! We got our 2 girls in August and they have become lovely pets.... It is funny to think of life without them now! They are such good pets for children - My 6 year old daughter came running into the house yesterday and said " Mummy, come quickly...
I don't wash the eggs 'cos in England, we don't eat the shells!!!!!!
Tee Hee!
Actually, I love when they come in with bits of straw all stuck to them. It shows they are ours!

I think they will be able to decide what is best for them. When it pours with rain, my girls hide under the picnic table rather than returning to their dry coop!! (even though the table has slats so the rain falls through!)
I believe the important thing is to make sure the drinking water doesn't...
My girls got grapes... (cut in half first, obviously as they are too posh to eat 'em whole!!!!!) They chase grape halves down the garden, falling over their great big feet and each other as they go!! Cool!
