you either cant read, or simply didnt take the time to do so.
i outlined several attempts to "block out" a noise that shouldnt be there in the first place.
i have not blamed anyone for any problems, EXCEPT lack of sleep, and the inconsiderate neighbor that is to blame for it.

another person that hasnt read everything ive typed huh?
YES im crabby, ive been woke early 4 days a week for a few months now.
for the second, third, maybe 4rth time..
my rooster doesnt usually crow early, unless that dog wakes it up!
its first few crows of the day are from within the top...
are you suggesting that I medicate myself for sleep, ignore my parental duties, or ignore smoke alarms, and co2 detectors in lieu of complaining about a barking dog?
i dont really feel comfortable doing those things.
as I said, roo is going away, ill let the city handle it.
Quote...
ive thought of that..
but for a few reasons idont like that idea.
1. i shouldnt have to do that in myown bed.
2. Wife works nights, i need to be able to hear the phone incase she has trouble going or coming.
3. i have 2 kiddos, their bedrooms are upstairs, I like being able to hear them...
thats a politician statistic there.
90% of MOST people.
thats like saying a small percentage of the minority.
Quote:
If you read more closely he said the 90% of MOST people. He didn't say that he was one of them which I'm sure he's not.
hahaha,
its in floor of the room INSIDE.
windows are closed, and blinds over windows are closed, and storm windows are closed.
i guess I could be a better neighbor and put my house about 50 feet underground.
Quote:
which way
is the box fan blowing,, in or out of the window??
we do have storm, windows, and there is about 40feet of 8' tall privacy fence there.
still hear it, and i sleep with a 20" box fan on high in my room too, still hear it.
I will re-home the roo, and then let the city handle it.
Quote:
its been a long going ordeal, im missing sleep!
the city code suggest a bark collar.
had she been nicer, or even apologetic this morning, it would be a different discussion.
i was NICE to her, she was not nice in return.
she in fact, LIED and said it was another neighbors dog ( nottrue, i...
It is outside, our bedroom is near the fence that is between her and our property.
its depriving me of sleep, seriousy, i work odd hours, and wife works nights, sleep is a commodity to me.
Quote:
the difference you see, is that I am willing to come within the compliance to be a good neighbor.
she is not.
she = bad, inconsiderate neighbor
me = guy with a roo, that didnt realize it bothered the neighbor.
i am not a mind reader.
Quote:
I would normally agree with you, however, ive lost sleep overthis.
i have trouble sleepinanyway, and I cant go back to sleep once iwake up that early.
so it is really bothering me.
im calling animal control monday.
Quote:
so i fI didnt have a rooster then she would be a bad neighbor?
your logic is flawed.
i was unaware that she was bothered by the roo.
she was well aware that i was bothered by barking at 5:30am.
she has done nothing to prevent it, and today, she basically said she would do nothing about it...
