How should I go about cleaning a poopy chicken

This has happened to my chickens too! Even in the winter!! I have found it best to let them get on the roost at night, set up my spa table and set to work. I have a plastic dish tub that I put warm water in and place the tub on a small table. I place a towel next to the tub and have a spare to...

    Weird egg?

I looked it up after I had thrown it away!!! There was not anything there this morning. If there is another I will cut it open. If that is what it is doesn’t look like there will be a good outcome. Thank you for helping me out on this.

    Weird egg?

Two mornings in a row found one of these one the floor of the coop. The hens are two weeks out from having been wormed. We haven’t had any eggs in over a month. Molting, worms, shorter days, 2 year old flock....? Anyone else seen something like this?

    Round worms

We are on day 2 of worming. It is going very well! We also have 3 ducks. Should they be treated as well?

    Round worms

    New to chickens

I am new to chickens this spring. I have 12 that are now 14 weeks old. 3 Bard Rock, 3 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Ameraunas, and 4 Silver Laced Wyandottes. I have been researching for a long time and “wanted to do everything right!” I feel like our chickens are very safe at night. The coop is secure...
