    Cold weather chickens, how do i know if the moisture is too high and temp too low??

    I can go get pics. 6 hens, 1 rooster. One window, low mid, other mid high, 6" fan is high. There are 3 ridge vents about 2" x6". Maybe if I open the windows a bit more then.

    Is high quality feed worth the money?

    I go to a local feed mill to supplement feed. I give them about 40% from the Amish feed mill. Slightly cheaper too. Winter in Wisconsin I do give a store 17% protein for the other 60, blended with oyster shells

    I would have never guessed more than 1 of the top 5 to be in the 5. I know many city people that love them. In the country, most of us are rr, americauna, orphington and leg horns.

    TSC chicks keep dying despite ideal conditions

    I didn’t have any die from TSC, however 2 of the 4 cornish had split leg. I couldn’t get them to recover. Is it the new brooders?

    I had a rooster....then one afternoon they strayed in the woods beyond my little patch of sorghum. I had a americana rooster and a isa come up missing. There were 4 red fox too, but one came up missing...... They are sitting in the nesting boxes, 12x14x16 out croppings from my actual coup...
