    Thanks! I hope it helps as well! It's been a frustrating few weeks not being able to let them out. And then when I did having to catch 6 chicks to put back in a safe cage wasn't fun!

    Our girls first day free ranging !

    Our 8/9 week old girls got to free range for the first time today. We put them in their new coop on Tuesday evening and decided today was a nice day to let them explore ! I was worried they might wander off but they haven't gone more than 5 feet from the coop ! They are loving being free !

    Yes I will. I'm not rushing to do it as we will free range the chickens mostly. It will be more for when we are not at home during the daytime. I am "mr mom" so I am home most of the time. :)
