    Not Quite a Cochin...

    That's what I was figuring. She's young, beautiful, sweet, and will start laying soon, so doesn't matter much to me whether she's a Cochin/Orpington/mix, just thought it would be nice to know! Maybe I need to find a nice big Buff Orp rooster and have some pretty little (big?!) babies!

    I purchased two pullets at a poultry auction that look somewhere between Buff Cochin and Buff Orpington. They were sold as Cochins, but I thought Cochins have feathered feet? They ARE very big birds with tons of feathers, much bigger and fluffier than any Orpington I've had... maybe a cross...
